    I bought a pacific digital dvd +r burner ( x4 ) speed and installed the full version of nero 6.

    I can only seem to burn at 2.4 speed though.

    I have gone through every setting I know of and cant seem to find a way to fix this.

    I dont even use nero to burn usually - I use dvd labs burning tool, but it seems to be stuck on 2.4 too.

    I am using tdk X4 speed +r media.

    any fixes for this?

    Look for a firmware upgrade for your burner. They are constantly checking out new media and updating the firmware for the speeds, performance and compatibility with different media.......
