  2. Don't know whether its the best or not but I use TMPEGEnc DVD Author to make custom menu's within their framework.
Easy to idiot proof to use but does take a lot of time to render the menu. Especially when you move things around.I have had one project take over 3 hrs.Only bonus to this is I can run more than one at a time.

  3. DVD-LAB! Takes a little bit of practice but the online guides speed it up.

  4. definately DVD-lab.. easy to use, no restrictions, support for motion menu's and transitions, fast rendering+compiling... it's perfect!

  5. The 4 hrs to render is because I'm using 3 min motion menu's.With and average 3 pages and 35 chapters that's a lot of trans-coding?..

Dvd lab doesn't even do this task.It hands it of to guess who?

TMPEGEnc.Which is no speedy encoder itself.

If you want to create great pro looking menu's in one evening TMPEGEnc DVD Author is vastly superior. However,if you want complete control and are willing to spend the time learning or are familiar with video editing software, then DVD-lab is for you.

  6. If your good with Photoshop, you can make just about any menu you want with Encore DVD. As far as being user friendly, you might have to buy a book, & spend an afternoon learning it.
