NEC-2500A Firmware Patch for Speed

Hi All, DVD Identifier says Write Speed 4x.....
Descriptor 1 4.00x
Descriptor 2 3.00x
Descriptor 3 2.55x
Descriptor 4 2.00x
Descriptor 5 1.00x
Descriptor 6 0.51x..........Was told there is a Patch/Firmware out there that will put this Writer to its Full Potential Proper Speed of 8x...Plus to RIP Faster......How do i get this little progy, How do i use it, is it SAFE....
Got Firmware ver.1.06>>>1062003121900....

this one works in windows and will unlock the ripper.

Rip Lock Only Firmware Binary and Windows Flasher 1.06.

NOTE: the bitsetting ones are still in beta testing and I think only work well with 4x.

you try "dangerous brothers" also for firmware and I upgraded my 2500a to the hacked HP420i firmware for bitsetting, I only have 4x media and it works fine, have not bought any 8x media yet, still to pricey, so I have no idea if this firmware will work with them, by the time the 8x gets cheap enough they will have a better and more updated firmware with bitsetter anyway.
