Schindler's List on 1 DVD (no extras needed)

Is it possible? Doesn't seem to be with shrink, but i could very well be doing something wrong.

I burnt Schindler's List on one DVD. Use DVD Shrink and forget chapters-no problem.

I did it using DVD2ONE with it's join function. DVD2ONE's join works better than DVD Shrink's re-author for flipper disks like this.
Results were quite acceptable dispite the 3hr-20min length.
Rip each side in file mode to separate directories. Just one audio stream to keep video quality as high as possible. If I re-call this has DTS audio and it's about 1Gb,obviously don't keep that.

Used TMPGEnc DVD Author to join the 2 discs. Then I used DVD2SVCD in DVD to DVD mode with CCE. Got rid of everything expect english subs and DTS sound.

Yep, DVDShrink triumphs again. Whole movie down onto 1 disc, with around 40-45% compression total.

Thanks for the ideas, I had trouble myself with Schindler's List. I will give it a try with DVDShrink.
