Hi,
I've written a couple of dvds in the past using a friends writer, but now I want my own. I recently bought an NEC2500A, but sent it back because it was very fussy with media and would not read the data discs it had just written. I still want a writter but I don't know what to go for.
I'm not to fussed about cost, so long as it works well and is reliable. I want to backup data as well as write home videos. Can you recommend a good writter please? oh and preferably 8x
Graeme

All I can say my friend is that Ive had my Pioneer A07 for around 6 weeks now and it is a great writer flash it with flashmans hacked firmware and burn 4x media at 8x
you can get this writer from www.blankdiscshop.co.uk for around £80Welcome to the REAL world! -
my pioneer a06 is awesome and I've yet to see anything bad about the 07, so I'd go for that. 120 bucks at newegg.

Ah ha
You have confirmed what I thought. I've got pioneer equipment and its great. I was going to get the pioneer A07, but the NEC tempted me away. I've seen the pioneer for £79.99 so I think I may have to whip out my credit card again
Cheers.
