I'm transferring some vhs material to dvd and I've been trying to use an s-video lead as an input to the dmre50, from the vcr. The problem is that I am getting a black and white picture through the TV (Sony, recent model). When I connect the vcr to the TV directly, via A3 s-video socket, I get a colour picture. I've tried a couple of leads, changed settings in the set-up menu on the dvdr, but still stuck with a B/W picture when using the front s-video socket on the dvdr. I hope someone can make sense of my ramblings. Any help or tips gratefully received.
Thanks in advance!!!!
