For the past 6 months i have been capturing from my jvc dvl150 to my computer via firewire fine. Just lately i get a dazzle hollywood dv bridge to allow me to make analog into digital via firewire. This worked really great and the picture was really good. but then the capture program that came with it crashed, and now the firewire has a yelleow sign by it in the device manager. I use win98SE and win2000 dual boot, and it has happened in both. if i uninstall the card and reboot windows reinstalls, and it works fine until i try the hollywood again. now i cant use firewire at all. my computer is
1ghz althlon
Via KT-133 chipset
512mb RAM
30gb seagate 7200rpm hdd
40gb western digital 7200rpm hdd
soundblaster live soundcard
asus 8200 geforce 3 graphics card
win98se/win2000 dual boot
anybody know about this problem? thanks
