  1. Been trying to make a kvcd today after reading a guide on the net. I managed to do the video file ok but when it came to running besweet to change the wav file to mp2 I seem to run into problems. I used the wizard and set everything up but when I click go the logfile comes up and nothin g seems to have happened.
I am using the latest version of besweet GUI.
I am trying to make a kvcd as I have had audio playback problems on my panasonic dvd player with discs I have converted from avi and then burnt onto dvd using nec 2500 drive, but they play fine on other players.
When I play the disc I have authored on my player the audio stops and starts like someone is pressing the mute button rapidly yet it works fine on my friends player. Could it be a conflict with the authoring program I use (dvdlab) ?

    Thanks for any advice.

The fact that your KVCD plays fine on a friend's player indicates to me that your player just doesn't like KVCD's. This is not an uncommon problem because KVCD's are non-standard. Some players simply can't handle non-standard discs very well. Sounds like yours is one of them. As for the Besweet problem, use FFMPEGGUI in the future. It's much easier to use.

  3. Hi, thanks for the reply. Sorry if I confused the situation, I rambled a bit. I haven;t got round to making a kvcd yet, I am making one as an alternative to dvd as it's the dvd I am having problems with.
    Thanks.
