I've looked at the guide and it did help me much, but I got stuck on the way out =/
I've downloaded over 20 damn programs just for the subtitles/encoding.
I've done all that n I have a subtitle files, an .srt and a .ssa.
I have the movie but can't put them together...
I can see the subtitles using VirtualDub, but have no clue on how to burn the subs into the movie...

Load your .ssa subs into VDub and start the frameserver, then feed the frameserver file to your encoder.

  3. Yeah I got stuck in that guide... here's what I did:

    -Used VirtualDub
    -Open my movie file
    -Video > filters
    -Added subtitles (Avery Lee)
    Then opened my .ssa file

    What do I do now...

Assuming you already have subs ready to encode into your video...

    ...that's the next step.

The alternative would be to just save your file to a new file using full processing mode and then encoding that new file.

  5. So I run the 'Frameserver mode - VirtualDub' and just leave it? pic >>
Then I open up TMPGE program and just encode it to .avi or .mpg?
Will the output file have the subtitles on?
    :S

Yes, apply the .ssa subtitles you created and then start the frameserver in VDub. Then you feed the dummy file to your encoder and your finished mpeg file will have the subtitles hard encoded into them.
