I/O Error Burning with Decrypter

At the writing image stage I get "failed to write'' in the log and this pops up:

I get the same error message even when I switched to Adaptec ASPI v4.71, switched to DVD-Rs, and even switching to different versions of Decrypter.

Please help!

NEVERMIND

I just installed DirectX 9 and that fixed it!

Can any of you gurus explain that?
