Can anyone please give me a step-by-step, idiot's guide to transferring VHS tapes to the Panasonic DMR-HS2? I'm not worried about macrovision or anything, just want to know how to do the connections, what channel to select and any other possibles I may have overlooked.
I've tried hooking up via the SCART on the video and into the inputs on both the front and rear of the HS2, but no luck. Also tried linking direct with a SCART from the video to the lower SCART on the HS2, (EXT AV1)?, but again no joy. On AV3 and AV4 I get a blank screen, whereas on AV1 I get what looks like frozen static (like a picture breaking up badly).
Other than this, I LOVE the HS2! It's changed my life!
Now if only I could get this sorted...
Thanks for any help and sorry for having brain not fitted as standard.
Thanx!
