Hi all,
I want to digitalize a lot of VHS into DVD, and I'm wondering what is the best Player and TV Card to do this.
Does the VHS Player makes a difference in quality? If so, what should I look for when buying one?
Second question, my Gateway LX-6810 came with a tv tuner card (can't find exact model in spec. http://www.gateway.com/systems/product/529668232.php). Will a Hauppage 2250 make a difference? Any other suggestion for TV card?
I don't really have a price range for this stuff. I just want the best quality possible in a reasonable price range (less than 1000$). I'm ready to pay more only if it makes a real visible difference.
Thanks for your advice
Max

Your question pops up regularly on here, so most of what you're asking has already been answered. This thread for example has a lot of useful info:

I couldn't easily find what TV tuner your computer has, but it may be suitable for your needs.
