  1. which gives better quality for backing up dvd9? haven't tried dvd shrink but i like how you can do it all with 1 app (no starting 1, waiting for it to end, starting another, starting the burner, etc)

  2. Try it and tell by yourself. I think this is the best answer to your question.

Are you asking if dvdecryter is better than dvd shrink? They are 2 completely different things. dvdecryter is a ripper and dvdshrink is an encoder. if the movie is under 4.36 gigabytes, you don't need dvdshrink. if its over 4.36 gigs, then you need dvdshrink to compress it

I think he means DVDDecrypter+DVD2One against DVDShrink

my answer is the same as toronto098's, try it yourself

in general most people will prefer DVDShrink as it has previews etc and a much better GUI etc and of course it's free

I have to agree with ghoster here. DVD Shrink is almost dummy proof.

  7. I have been using .... AnyDVD/DVD2One/CopytoDVD for some time and this has provied good results and virtually a "one click" solution.

Having said that, DVD Shrink can now link to Nero or in the latest beta version, can produce an ISO and link to DVD Decrypter, which has equalled my old setup.

I've used both and must say DVD Shrink is very good and comparable.
For longer films, though, using the Deep Analysis option, I would say it has the edge over DVD2one.
