Help me out here guys...
I've spent the last few days (3+ hours per attempt) to convert a flick from AVI to VCD using TMPGenc. I've burnt plenty now without issue, however, this particular one is giving me a hard time.
First, the source avi is in some weird resolution 320x144 or something near that, with a frame rate of 60...
So, I set 'er all up for a 25 fps PAL conversion with a 1:1 VGA setting and set for full screen.
After she's all converted, I test play it through media player with no issues. When I burn it and drop it in the standalone player, it's like the letter box image is on the TOP half of the screen and the blakc margin takes up the bottom half of the screen.
So, I've tried altering the settings from FULL SCREEN, to Centered and then again with NO MARGINS but I get the same thing.
Can someone give me a bit of advice or point me in a direction (apart from F*ck off or go to HELL.. hehe).
Thanks
Cargodog
BTW, I took that shitty JVC S42SL back to Future Shop and exchanged it for a Samsung M301 that works like a charm.
