I am currently looking at:

I want to know if with my Plextor px-708uf burner and with my Polaroid DVD Player (which has played both fuji dvd-r and tdk dvd+r discs), if you feel that these Ritek would be a good purchase?
I heard something about dye running out after 6 months, but that was with cheaper discs, I heard Ritek is good....am I mistkaen?
Finally, do you know of anywhere to get these discs cheaper than the link above?
If they don't work, I heard it is a 15% restrocking fee which at least I'd get something back and make another purchase
Email drothman@camden.rutgers.edu if you could with replies.
Thanks so much!

I just purchased a 50 pack last week, burnt 10 or 12 so far, not a problem. If your Plextor is the 8 speed burner I have heard of people being able to burn these at up to 8X with that drive. I'm burning them at 4X on my NEC ND-1300A and they've played in every player I've tested them in thus far, and even work well for my Playstation 2 game backups. It doesn't get much better than Ritek's, well, except for Taiyo Yuden, but those cost a lot more.

those riteks are awesome,. ive burned about 500, only 1 or 2 coasters, and they were my fault, not the discs. those are 4x discs, im not sure if they can be burned at 8x though.
and if you are going to go with those riteks, get them from newegg. they have super fast shipping, they are cheap, and they have great customer service. dont worry about the restocking fee, because you wont be sending these back! -
I also have about 750 burned discs floating around, all originally created videos I've made for folks. All burned on RitekG04 discs. Not a single complaint or one that wouldn't play.
They are all I use. Speaking of which...thanks for the link....I just emptied another spindle and need to restock
