No probs burning DVD- but probs with DVD+

I have a IO MAGIC 8x dvd + and DVD- internal burner.I have no problem burning video to TDK DVD 2x disks but I just bought TDK 4x DVD+ disks and the burner just stops burning to disk about three quarters though.Normally when burning the burners green light flashes but when using the DVD+ disks the light flashes green and gold.I am using NERO VISION software.Any Ideas?

Either:
1. Bad Media.
2. Update your firmware for your burner.
3. Your burning software isnt very user friendly.
4. Your burner is crap. (probably not, even if its new)
5. Download Stomp Record Now Max 4.5 if you can find it. Thats a very good burning program.

I had a bad experiance with IO magic a while back. I went and bought an external burner via USB, and xp wouldnt even recognize it, yet it was recognized on 98se on my dads computer, Turned out it was a lite-on burner, which i can safely say is garbage. I returned it and got an optorite, works very nice for 100 bucks.
Couldnt say what it might be though. You'll have to find that out yourself.
Try a firmware upgrade first, then try to use different software. Still get problems, try different media brand.
