  1. Hey all,
    Just wondering if there was any way I could completely rip a DVD (including CSS maybe?) and fully be able to emulate it in some kind of other program. Meaning I would make a complete 100% copy of the DVD I have and then load it up in a program that would read it as if it were the originial DVD (presenting me with original menus, etc etc).

    Sort of like a virtual drive for a DVD movie....

    Possible? If so, what software can I use?

    Thanks!!!

  2. Rip to hard drive with DVDshrink or DVDdecryptor (removes css) and watch with PowerDVD.

  4. DVDdecrypter->ISO Read
    Daemon Tools->Mount Image

  5. nufan292,
    When you mount the image with Daemon tools don't you still need something like PowerDVD to watch it?

    I stopped bothering with Daemon tools when PowerDVD added the ability to play videots folder from the harddrive.

  6. Yes. I didn't know that, just a creature of habit I guess. Usually when I watch the iso with Daemon Tools it's after I just transcoded, and plan on burning with DVDdecryptor, so might as well mount the iso I just created. To OP there are probably a hundred ways to do it, just find the easiest and most convienient way for you. I wish forums had spell checkers.
