  1. Hi Guys,

I am fairly new to the dvd burning art and was wondering if someone could help me out. I have looked over a few tutorials, but they seem to get me confused so hopefully someone can help me out a bit. Here is my dilema.

Burning shorter movies is no problem. Longer movies is where I have a problem. (ex: The Green Mile, Lord Of The Rings and so on...) I dont want to lose too much quality, but since the movie is so big I have no choice. I would like to be able to split up those long movies into 2 discs withouth losing quality, so it could look something like this:

Disc 1 - First half (or a bit more) of the movie.
Disc 2 - 2nd half (or rest of the movie) + Special Features

I would also like to be able to have a screen pop up saying, Please enter Disc 2 or something of the sort...

I know this is doable and I hope someone can help me out.

The programms I am using right now are: DVD Shrink 2.3, DVD Shrink 3.1, DVD Decrypter and Record Now DX.

I am currently trying to do this for the movie The Green Mile.

I will rip the dvd later, and can post the structure if this helps.

    Thanks much,
    Dan
