    i already checked in the DVD media section for this disc

    but who here has used this kind of media

    Optodisc Gold Blank Media Disc "Azo Dye"

    if so is it any good?

    Ive only used 1 Optodisc. It was a DVD-RW that came with my Pioneer DVR-104...and it wasn't working after 10 burns or so. I use strictly Memorex +R with the Ricoh media ID, or Ritek G04 -R now with my NEC drive, I dont see the point in saving a few bucks on a couple of DVD's if they might not work down the road but perhaps someone can chime in with a good experience with Optodisc?

    oh yeah i forgot to mention its a DVD-R

    im also wondering, what exactly is Azo Dye?
