Hi!
I have a lot of videoclips in vob format. Some are PAL, some are NTSC. I'd like to know what I have to do to burn them all in one dvd. Probably, I will have to de-multiplex the file and convert them all to NTSC or PAL. I think I can do that with FinalCut Pro or even ffmpegx.
Am I doing this the right way? I want the final result to be loss-free (if possible) mpeg-2. Maybe DV files are better?
What do you think I should do with the vobs?

MPEG2 Works comes with an application called DVD Converter that changes PAL VOBs to NTSC or the other way around.

Agreed
you will have to get them all into one format of your choice
then its just importing into Sizzle and building the image to burn
Like it was said, do a forum search or you can visit my website for instuction on sizzle
its under SVCD to DVD tab
keep in mind that process is .mpeg to dvd, which is what you will do when you demux those .vob's -
If you're not too busy, you could try something for me. Try adding a mix of NTSC and PAL vobs to the same project and see what happens. I'd be interested to know.
If it isn't broken, take it apart and find out why.
