Toast 6 SVCD chapters - does it work?

Hi
I burned my first svcd with toast 6. In the edit/video dailog, I clicked for chapters every 2 minutes. The Cd burned OK, playable, etc. with a menu, however, when I go to do the chapter adavance, it takes me back to the main CD menu.

I remember this being an issue with MMT, does anyone know if chapters work with Toast 6 SVCD's?

Your settop player has to support PBC for SVCD. If it doesn't, your disc will play track by track, and may return to the menu if it supports displaying the menu.

I think it is, because "PBC" appears in the DVD display with the SVCD in it.

most players have a PBC button on thier controller. Check yours and make sure its in teh proper posistion (on / off) then give her a go

Toast doesn't support Chapters for VCD or SVCD, only DVD. You will notice that the title of the pop-up in toast says "DVD Chapters".

Well, it is a curveball for my neophyte mind, when both MMT and TOast 6 have an option for you to pick chapters, but they don't work anyways. So I waste time trying to set them up, but no dice.
