Anyone out there experience problems in ripping +RW discs in their Pioneer 105 / A05? I've been making some compilation discs in 4 hr mode on a standalone (Liteon 5001) using Ritek +RW media and I've been having trouble ripping the discs to my HD. In Decryptor I get sector errors, in Veritas Record Now it just says there are errors at the end (attributes it to a dirty disc/fingerprints, etc), and Shrink won't even open the disc. THe original disc plays fine on my standalones. . .
The one suggestion thusfar has been to use isobuster to rip and fix the vob files and make a new image. Any other suggestions???
Thanks,
Dave

The Pioneer A05/105 does not support +R/RW media for reading or writing. Check this link. http://www.dvdwriters.co.uk/reviews/pioneer/dvr105p1.htm

But that article clearly indicates the Pioneer 105 can read +R/RW, just not write to them. . .

if you are having problems ripping files of a +RW on the pioneer 105,then try the old and tested method of going into "my computer" and "opening" the drive,or examining the files inside.
if that works, then just copy and paste them from the disc(in this screen),to a folder of your choice.
but i can assure you that the pioneer 105 CAN read +RW media.
*and whoever wrote that crappy article, clearly has their head up their own arse.
as it reads dvd-r,dvd+r.dvd-rw,dvd+rw,as well as standard dvd originals.
not too sure about dvdRAM though, never had the urge to purloin one.
