CloneDVD2 Problem - Not Picking up Blank DVDR

Hi all,

I have recently purchased a TDK DVDRW420N external DVD burner (USB). I have used DVD Decrypter and Clone DVD2. Everything runs real smooth until I have to put in a blank DVD for burning. For some reason the drive doesnt pick up any blank DVD's at all. It picks up movie DVD's fine and plays them.

Any suggestions on how I can get my drive to read blank DVD's so I can burn?

I am running Win2000 and have a P4 2gig so I wouldnt think thats a problem.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

hmmm... not too many burning warez supported win2k platform.

The TDK420 burner appears to be strictly a +r, +rw burner. Are you using +r or +rw media?

Yes the media is ok - using +r and +rw. When I plug the DVD Burner into the USB port it picks it up ok. Funny thing is, the burner is playing the DVD's but just doesnt like the blank media. Do you think that Win2k is the problem here?
