DVDShrink worked, then quit working

I have been using DVDShrink (3.1.4) successfully for a couple of weeks, then it completely stopped working yesterday. I now get the Copy Protection Error on every single disc I throw at it...even went back and tried ones that were previously working just fine, and they give the same error at some point.

Sometimes, it happens during the initial analyze, sometimes during actual ripping.

All titles work fine so far using DVDDecrypter. Kinda of a pain to do it that way when sometime all I want to grab is a small piece of the disc...hate waiting to rip the whole thing to my drive, then run DVDShrink.

Tried updating to 3.1.6, no better.

The only thing I've changed is adding a new external burner to my laptop...Pioneer 4X firewire (can't remember the model #), and loading Nero Express that came with it...didn't load any other software.

Any clues on what would break shrink all of the sudden?

Its a conflict with Nero, be sure NERO is not open & it should be fine.
