I am running VISTA x64 SP2. SVC2DVD did run on this machine before installing the latest updates (including SP2) to VISTA. I have the latest version of SVC2DVD 2.5.5030 installed in it's own directory and set to run with OWNER permission. I click the icon and the SVC2DVD splash screen comes up and stays on the screen for about 15 sec and then it shuts down. No error messages, nothing in the application log files. Task manager shows the file running while the splash screen displays and then everything disappears. Any ideas would be appreciated.

You just need to reinstall it.

I wish it were that easy. I have uninstalled, rebooted, reinstalled, rebooted. Tried it in the Program Files (x86) folder, tried it in it's own folder on the root. Same results.

So did you register? Or is this before that?

The program installs and goes through the registration just fine. When the registration is finished it asks if I want to run the program, I choose yes, and the splash screen appears for 30-45 sec and then disappears. No error message. Every time I try to run it after that, the same thing happens.

Can you take a look at this and tell me if it is similar in your case?

My language settings are English (US). Like I said before, the program did work on this machine, but it has been a while since I have used it and I know Vista SP2 and several other updates have been installed since then
