Ok I know this is stretching it, but is there any software out there that will remove vocals from music? I want to play music in the bacground of some home movies but dont want the vocals in....Thanks!

To be precise, the type of machine/software you are asking for - is referred to as a Parametric Equalizer.
Some of the audio capture/editors have this ability, but I am unsure which. I think that Sony's Sound Forge may have a utility/function within that software to do it.
Perhaps Goldwave and/or Cooledit may also have that feature.

Cool Edit will do it. (cool edit is now called abode audition).
It depends on the song as to how effective vocal removal will be.
get a trial version at:
