  1. I am having a problem with making a DVD-R from a DVD I have. I use DVD Shrink and compress it as much as it will go, but it's still too big to fit on a DVD-R. I have done just the movie, and it still is too big on the most compression. Someone please help. Thanks.

Try using DVDFab to split it out over two DVD-R discs. The downside is that it will require two DVD-R discs but the upside is that it will be a perfect 100% quality copy of the original.

Though I never tried this myself I have heard that some people will run DVDShrink a second time using the output from the first use. This works but I can't imagine it will give you a quality copy in the end.

Any compression means a loss in quality so doing it twice ... I just can't imagine getting acceptable results from doing that.

  3. Run it through dvdshrink a second time. ignoring the 'file too big' warning.
