    Hi,
    I'd like to have an idea of how long takes a simple encoding to svcd with a fast computer (P4,...).

    The source video is a music video captured in MJpeg at 480 * 576 25 fps.
    The duration is 3 min 35.

    I don't put any filters, the source is directly encoded to svcd. Tmpg is set to High Quality (Slow).

    The duration is 3 min 35... I don't put any filters...
    As it's that short, go ahead and try it out - it should only be a matter of "not many minutes" i.e. 10 or 15, thereabouts - something short anyway.

    With any modern computer at 2 ghz and up it should be only about 4 minutes at the most with no filters.
