Back when DVDXCopy was the only game in town, I backed up my copy of The Matrix and had to span it over 2 discs. Since that time, the original disc has become unplayable. Since the backup is on 2 discs, I have to insert disc 2 about half way thru. Today, I use Intervideo DVD copy to back up my DVD's. This program let's me pick and choose what do keep and what to throw out and if the size is still too large, it does a great job of compressing so that the movie will fit on one disc. I have gotten spoiled by this program and now wish I had The Matrix backed up onto one disc instead of two. Is there some way to take my split copy of The Matrix (made with DVDXCopy 1.4) and recombine it into a single DVD? As it is now, disc one has the "DVD Backup" warning created by DVDXCopy and I had disc 2 "start with menu". Ideally, I'd like to get the whole thing back over to one DVD+R with the original menu intact and no noticable break where the discs were split. An added bonus might be to get rid of the "DVD Backup" warning created by DVDXCopy. Any help here would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
Larry

very unfortunate that the original is now unplayable
. or it was a very carefully constructed post on your part
either way, for the trouble of getting it back to one disc, you might as well pop the 15 bucks and get another original copy
best time to price ratio out there -
The only thing I can think of is to try re-authoring it with DVDlab Pro (demo works for 30 days). It lets you import already authored DVD's.
But that wont save the menus, you'll have to create your own.
There's probably a better way, but I don't know it.I don't have a bad attitude...
