i have a dvd handycam which burns to mini dvds. when it finalizes the disc it creates chapter selection menus for the disc.
what i want to do now is put all those disc onto one dvdr, but i want to keep the chapter selection menus from each disc.
so what i want is like when you put the dvd in you can chose which disc to play, and it will have the menu for that disc.
or when you put the disc in it plays the frist disc part but you can select to switch to the other disc with the chapter menus.
is there a way of doing this easily without having to create new menus and stuff in adobe encore dvd etc... (let the program create the disc selection menu)
i know i could do the reauthor thing in dvdshrink, but then i don't have the menus for each disc.

Hi there,
I think you can do this using the DVD LAB PRO Beta version since it allows IFO files to be imported, unfortunately it will be quite a complex procedure to follow (see the mediachance multiple vts - titleset - guide)
at http://www.mediachance.com/dvdlab/tutorial/multivts.html
Not sure about other ways of doing it, you may want to check out www.doom9.org and look through the guides there.
Cheers

thanks! i'll give it a read.
i've checked doom9.org before and theres nothing really there that close to what i want to do.
is there any way to import the preexisting menus into adobe encore dvd?
but if i did it that way i think i'll loose the timeline (chapters).
