  1. I have a 95 mins MPG file which was encoded at 2000 kbits/sec bitrate using my Leadtek TV tuner. It's a movie i captured from TV.

I want to split it in 2 files and burn it as VCD. If i use TMPGEnc MPEG tools and set the type as VCD non-standard, the file gets cut but it gets completely out of sync. Therefore, i cannot use TMPGEnc to cut it in half.

If i use VCDCutter, then it cuts in half perfectly, with sound synchronized and all, but it's not a VCD non-standard as it should be. Nero complains about this.

The question is: how can i modify/correct its header after i cut it to look like a VCD non-standard file, but not using TMPGEnc? Is there any other software that i can use to do that?

    Thanx.

I think your problem could be solved if you burn the non compliant files with VCDEasy.. it WILL burn non standard Mpeg files - sure, it will tell ya that your files aren't mpeg standard, but will burn 'em anyway.

  3. I know that. Nero will burn them too, if you turn off standard compliance. I was only wondering if there is a program that corrects that, besides TMPGEnc.

    Any other opinions?
