    Hi , I have recorded some stuff off VHS onto dvd from my standalone recorder, now the menus on the standalone kinda suck, and Id like to be able to add some cool looking menus on my pc somehow then burn a new disc on the pc dvd-r.

    now the question is , is that possible?

    Easily. Try Tmpgenc DVD Author or DVD Lab if you're new at it and read the guides on this site. I do them everyday since the Panasonic E80 menus are only text...
