  1. Hi guys!
I am thinking of upgrading my computer, so what cpu chould I choose if I am a little short of money, celeron 800 mhz with 256 sd-ram, or athlon 1 ghz with 128 sd-ram? The main purpose is ripping dvd and converting it into vcd. If anyone has celeron, and doing it, how much time does it takes?
    thanks

  2. hmmm dont you think the choice is obvious .. get the athlon and the 128MB ram .. then shell out $10 more bucks the next week for 128MB more

i dont understand how you would have a problem choosing between an athlon and a celery .. i have a 750 duron and it encodes everything twice as fast my roomates 700 celery .. there isnt even a comparison to be made
