I'm looking to get a PVR, particularly a USB/external one. Just want it to record tv shows and to convert some of my vhs tapes to dvd. I would like one with decent quality, and possibly easy installation too if possible.
The one I'm eyeing right now is the WinTV PVR USB-2. Just wondering if anyone had any other suggestions of others to look at, or any reviews of their own over this PVR USB-2 model....
Thanx

WinTV PVR USB-2 is best option when come to SageTV & SageRecoder
, BeyondTV, GBPVR, CTpvr, JovePlayer (With REALmagic Xcard) and possable ever ShowShifter but unknow rigth now. -
One of the requirements for the PVR-USB-2 is a VGA card (PCI or AGP) which supports video overlay (NVidia, S3, ATI, etc.)
I'm still kinda new with dealing w/ computers, how can I tell or check if I have a VGA card like it asks for? -
