  1. Can anyone tell me how I go about cloning a DV tape please? I need to do this as I fogot to black my DV tape and so I've got dicontinuous timecoding.

I need to get the DV onto a new tape - do I need some hardware other than my PC and camcorder for this?

If you have a fire wire card, you can transfer the DV to your computer, change the tape to a time-coded tape, then transfer it back to your camcorder.

Windows MM2 allows you to capture AVI from camera then save to camera, simply switch tapes after capture and let it go. Good for backups also as MM2 will import different format movies from your hard drive.
