I recently switched to Windows 2000 and I cant get any MP3 encoder to see my drives. I know its an ASPI problem but i've tried the last three versions, ForceASPI, and even a Win2k/XP registry fix to no avail. Does anyone know what the problem is?
Thanks

Afterdawn has a moniker saying to use Adaptec's latest version. DO NOT DO THIS! It did not work on any of my machines that run Win2000 Pro with SP4, but overwriting it with ForceASPI worked. -
I do have the latest service pack and have also done what you two have said to no progress. What else could be the problem?

Make sure you are not trying to rip a CD with DRM or some kind of copy protection.

I'm not. Besides, if it cant access the drive how could it tell if it's protected?
