I am a newbie and I am trying to capture home video from my camcorder to a DVD of my 2 children. I have been struggling with the sound for several days and I have finally come to you for help.
I cannot figure this out.
I am having trouble capturing my sound. The video seems to capture just fine. I have created a web page that has pictures and all the setting that I know about. I have read the manual for S8. Actually twice. And I think I have all of my connection and setting right. My one concern is that the "Audio" connection doesn't fit "snug" in to the TV Tuner card audio port.
Please, if I have left something out let me know.

If the URL doesn't work please let me know.
My computer and Camcorder info:
Gateway 310 XL
2.6Mhz. 768MB of RAM
40 Gig HD
Capture card: Pinnacle PCTV Rave
Software: Studio 8 with latest update.
Camcorder is a Sony Handycam CCD-TRV25. Analogue
Thank you so much!!

1. Not sure if I can help, but why do you try to locate audio files ? Audio should be part of video.
2. "CD and Voice Over" setup is not used during Video capture (at least that is my understanding).
I might be totaly wrong with all that. My sugestion would be to read manual for card and studio. You would be surprised that sometime you can find usefull informationPinnacle Studio 8 and DV home video editing (ver.9 already home)
