While I'm here, I might as well ask, since I've had this issue a couple times. When I'm taking a video file that is larger than will fit on one VCD, occasionally I'll find that the TMPGEnc MPG tools won't recognize the full length of the file (this sometimes happens when playing a file as well, it'll say the file is 20 minutes long, but it gets to the end and keeps playing to the true end while still reporting it only being 20 minutes long).
Say I'm trying to cut into two parts. I'll select the first section and produce the cut file. Then I try to produce the second section, but TMPGEnc won't allow me to drag to the true end of the file, it stops and there isn't an option for "last frame" or anything like that. I've checked the file with VirtualDUB for bad frames and everything is fine and I have yet to find a worthwhile MPG fixing program.
Ideas?
