  1. Ok, this is a great program, though, many improvement needed. So, please donate to get the full app and help the author makes this app better.

This program is very very picky on the mpg & bin files. So, if there're something going wrong, that because your mpg/bin files are not very good (even your files play flawlessy on your dvd player or computer, it doesn't mean that they're good enought for svcd2dvd.)

How to fix the darn not so good mpg/bin files, use vcdgear, just load the mpg/bin files and output to mpg files. Do not check "fix mpg", it's only screws up the files more.

Still doesn't work, use ulead studio 7, load the mpg, then save the trimmed video option, that will guarranty a good mpg files for svcd2dvd.

Well, this is my experience w/ svcd2dvd after making tons of dvds. Again, great great program, just need to be more tolerate with mpg/bin files.

  2. YEs i agree. I found out the same problems so i did exactly the same thing with vcdgear. But when that didn't fix the problem i simply extracted the audio as wave and used an encoder to re-encode the WAV file to MPEG audio, then used TPMPEG to multiplex the audio back, and found it went through svcd2dvd without any problems.

Maybe another enhancement would be to add multi channel mpeg audio encoding if the source is of course multi channel.

  3. RTailor, that too much work, just use Ulead Studio 7, work every single time for me. Ulead take about 20-30 secs. longer than vcdgear, but guarantee a good files for svcd2dvd everytime.

But for freeware only, your method is the way to go.

I have a question about this. I trimmed the video in US7. but now i don't have any audio anymore. Also the preview doesn't give any audio.

    Do you have any idea.
