  1. I've got downloaded mpg, avi, and wmv videos that I've downloaded. I have AVS videoconverter to change them into mpeg2 format, but I'd like to burn them onto DVD-R after they're converted.

Can someone recommend a software that will do this and maybe give me a guide/point me to a tutorial please?

I'd like to go with DVD-R rather than VCD as the mpgs are quite high quality right now and I'd like to keep the quality as good as I can.

    Thanks
    Mike

  3. Hmm... this is definitely an authoring question. Maybe I worded it poorly.

Let's put it this way, what method does everyone recommend for AUTHORING my mpg2 clips to dvd-r? I'll be adding chapters to some, while simply adding the whole video to others.

    Priorities are
    1) quality
    2) ease of use
    3) speed

I'll break my previous question into separate threads. I tried the guides, but I'd like one geared more toward the scenario in question i.e. "I've downloaded video in format X, I want to convert it to the proper format to author a regular DVD".

    thanks
    Mike
