I just got the Nec 2500D 8x burner, with 1.06 Firmware and it took me a little bit over an hour (35 mins to "copy to image" and 35 mins to write a 4.3 Gig of movie) and while it "Copy to Image" I monitored the rate , it was at 2200Kb/s and it wrote at 6x 11Kb/s for a 4x TDK+ disk, is this normal? I 'm a long time Nero user for CD-R but new to DVD burner and Nero 6.0. I used to use DVD X Express (not happy with it!) and it fit a 7Gig+ of movie into one disk, does Nero can fit this much of data into 1 disk? Or it will split (I'll be OK with split into 2 disks) into two disk? Thanks in advance for your answers.![]()

Becareful of using Nero 6.0 for -RDVD blanks, especially when linking from DVDShrink (uses the Nero image). I've had several failures but none if I use +RDVD blanks. TDK Tech support (for my burner) say that Nero 6.0 has problems with -RDVDs, but the latest upgrade may fix it (haven't tried myself).
