Roxio DVD, VCD Creator

I recently went on vacation and, when I had my pictures developed, they told me that I should make a Video CD out of my pictures. This sounded good so I purchased Roxio Creator. It has been pretty easy, but I am having a problem getting the music to be the same length as my pictures. I want the pictures, from each segment, to play as long as the song. I have tried choosing the option for this "Make segment as long as the audio" or whatever it says, but it does not make it the same length at all. The pictures are always longer than the song causing the song to start over, which I do not want. Can anyone help?

with pinnacle studio you can drag pictures and music, and set the duration per picture/music file.
dvdlab can set duration per picture but i don't know if it supports multiple music files.
