Can't change Cinema Craft settings

Hi All,

Iam Using FlaskMpeg 6.0.Have the Cinema Craft EncoderBasic version with me(not trial version).I did the Adobe Premier Fix for giving CCE-setup the impression that Adobe Premiere is indeed installed.Then I installed the CCE version & changed the "cm-mpeg-ccet.prm"
to "cce.cm.flask" so FlasKMPEG can find it.
Now CCE plugin reports not enough space.I changed the number of frames & then it was fine.The problem am Facing right now is I couldnt Configure the cce for eg:- reducing the bitrate.Iam able to go the CCE Cofigure windows,but once I change some options & press OK ,FlaskMpeg crashes.Iam able to run FlaskMpeg with CCE with the default cce settings(ie: not going to the CCE configure window).But I cant do that as the resulting Filesize would be 5 or 6 Gb co's of the high bitrate in the CCE default configaration.

How could I solve it...

Any help is appreciated..

just change the template settings .... they are in your registry

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Custom Technology\CCE SP\template\0



they are easy to change -- in fact you could make up several and just import them as required into the reg.

"0" is the default and required ...


this is for cce sp , basic must have something like it also ...

Okay,so I have to make a new template according to my needs & register it inside the registry.
[1]Can I do it manually inside the registry...or else how.. .
[2]Is the change sufficient only under HKEY_CURRENT_USER or do I have to make change in other HKEYS as well.

[3] How to make my Templae the standard one under the registry....

1. do it manually inside the registry is the easiest

2. sufficient only under HKEY_CURRENT_USER

3. export the key as a reg file -- edit exported reg file with notepad.
change the following lines (your path may be diff.)

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Custom Technology\CCE SP \template\0]
@="Standard"

to


[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Custom Technology\CCE SP \template\1]
@="BackUP"


and save and close --- double click reg file you just modified and it will import into reg as a exact copy of your current default file (in case you muck it up) but will not overwrite your default settings....

now in the registry -- edit the "0" entry ....

- you can save that now after modification so you can easly re-import it ..

its easier to edit IN registry unless you know hex real well --- in the reg you can use normal values that make faster sense ...

Another things the templates are there in the registry only for CCE standalone version & the FlaskMpeg uses the plug in version .Could that be the reason...

maybe -- you might have to search for a ini file or another reg file with those settings ... same basic result in the end ... i dont use the plug in so i cant tell you where its settings might be (could be anywhere)
