I have been trying to use WinDVD Creator 2 to edit my Digital Camcorder footage as well as digibox video captured via an old ATI 128 pro Rage Theatre card (using WinDVR 3) . I have found the WinDVD Creator 2 software easy to use, but when I choose to 'make movie' i.e. render to the final DVD format, it only produces a small part of overall project, the amount of which varies each time you try. This is the same for the camcorder footage (via firewire) and the analogue captured stuff.

The program seems to process each chapter of the story board (showing a preview as it goes), but a project containing say 20 chapters, may end up with only the first few in the final product.
I have also used Ulead MovieFactory 2, which seems to fail if there are too many chapters.
I don't know what or if there is a chapter limit and whether this is relevant.

I am running XP on an AthlonXP 2000+ with 512MB RAM and have updated to XP Sp1, latest DirectX etc.
My main PC drive is only 10GB (5 of which is free) and contains the applications. This is NTFS formatted whilst the separate AV drive (80GB) is still FAT32 and is used just for AV files. I have left plenty of space on my 80GB drive e.g. about 50GB, . I am gradually clearing off my files to re-format both to NTFS, but don't know whether this is even relevant.
I suspect that it is not relevant because I have tried the software on another PC with a single NTFS drive, and experienced similar problems.

The final video, albeit incomplete, seems to be of Vgood quality and I like the transitions etc available. I am therefore keen to solve the problem and use the software if at all possible.
I tried the Intervideo tech support form but received no reply !

I get no error messages when running the application so would appreciate any suggestions.
Many thanks !
