Hey everyone. When I download You Got Served SVCD TS-loGisTic it is a mpeg file. my question is. since it says that it is a SVCD format in the title and it comes in an mpeg file, if i use my Video CD tool in most burning programs, will that Video CD tool convert the mpeg into just a VCD instead of a SVCD, or will it convert it to SVCD format? because i thought mpeg files were only VCD formats? any help would be great, thanks

thanks for the reply. that was some good info. my questions was if it was svcd and in mpeg file format, then can i just say like recordnow max videoCD option to just burn it on the CD? will that try to convert the mpeg file to just a VCD? not SVCD like how the mpeg was originally. or does the recording tool just covert it accordingly, to VCD or SVCD depending on the file? or does it always try to convert an mpeg file to VCD?

No, you need to burn it as SVCD.
If you read the info at that link you would see that SVCD uses a different file structure and different mpeg settings from VCD.
then can i just say like recordnow max videoCD option to just burn it on the CD? will that try to convert the mpeg file to just a VCD?
