DTH 4000 laser adjusments

Hi everybody:

I´ve opened my player after seen siwus method to allow changing the Thomson DTH 4000 reading laser angle.There should be a resistor to adjust the player to work with almost all CD-R discs.
But I can´t find it!Somebody has information about it I don´t want to crash my player.Or somebody knows links with internal picutures of a DVD player.The resistor has a screw?
