I have Toshiba SD-4000 and its a divx player. I wonder if anyone know what type of file it can read. I have a lot of mp4 file and some are encoded in h264. I know there a site where it tell you all the file it can read but I don't remember where it is now![]()

Most DVD players that support MP4 mean that they support Divx/Xvid video in an MP4 container. H.264 support is quite rare so if your player supports it you are very lucky. I've heard of a few BluRay players that support it, but it's almost impossible to find a DVD player that supports it. Based on the information we have in our DVD Players list, I'm not sure that your player will even support Divx/Xvid in an MP4 container, but you can try it and see.
