Which Ritek dye is best G03 or G04?
I guees G04 should be better because they are newer and more expensive, but I have heard peopel complaing on the G04 and recomand G03 as more compatible and with better playback!

I really don't think there is a dye difference....G03's are 2X and G04's are 4X....as far as I know. I've used both. White coated G04's have given me a few bad burns...."see thru" G03's?...none.

The Imation 50 pack -R I bought at Best Buy were G03's. When I used them with the Sony DRU510A & Nero 5.x, I get disc-at-once errors at the end of the writing session. However, the burned discs played fine, and DVDInfoPro did not report any errors on them. So I don't know if that was just a Nero bug or the G03's. But because of the errors, I don't know if I would buy G03's again...
