I usually use dvd shrink but ran into some problems with version 1.03 so i'm getting used to 3.1 now and when i try to back up the whole thing it just plays the menus as like pictures for a few seconds its like the main menu is a chapter of its own and you can't select where you wanna go only wait till the ten seconds or whatever is done then it moves on to the next chapter, why does it do that and how do i fix it. Also i hear everyone knocking dvd shrink and i was woundering what other ripper is as simple that can backup the menus and extras, i want to look into some other.

Hi m8,
I have been having the same problem with dvd shrink ver 3.1 and m yet to find a solution.
If i find one i will be sure to let u know. If u find one please post it up here.
Many thanks -
Hi you two.
It sounds like you used the "Re-author" mode.
If you did, the menus would have been "converted" to video streams and lose their functionality.
Only DVD Shrink "Full-Disk" mode allow for functionning menus.
In the latest beta ( http://www.dvdshrink.info/temp/dvdshrink315b4.zip ), a warning pop-ups when you try to re-author menus. -
Im pretty sure that i didnt use re-author mode but i will look into that too thanks.
Violent Juggal0 i have found that DVD Xcopy Xpress is really good for making backups of DVDs and its very easy to use. I reccommend it. :)
(It includes extras in menus in its backup process)
