    I am expecting a best of the three stooges disc soon and want to back it up. But I've read that it is very difficult. Why ?

    Haven't had a problem with one of the episode disc's I've done so far.. South Park season 3. Worked just like any other DVD I've backed up.

    It's not difficult at all. I really find no difference between the episodic DVDs and the movies when it comes to backing them up. I use DVDShrink and every single one has worked like a charm.

    Fair chance whatever you read was written by noobs who overcomplicated the issue. No different to any other DVD if using transcoding software.
